About the Virginia Association of Student Activity Advisers
The Virginia Association of Student Activity Advisers (VASAA) is for the advisers of co-curricular activities. It has long been recognized that co-curricular activities are an excellent venue for leadership education and their value to the life and morale of the school is indisputable. The VASAA, through workshops and networking, will give school activity advisers the extra information and support they need to improve the effectiveness of school activity organizations.
What can the VASAA do for advisers?
All activity advisers can benefit from support offered on a statewide level. It offers specialized workshops for advisers during the school year. Workshops addressing the specific needs of advisers are offered regularly, and provide training, ideas, techniques, and motivation for advisers.
National Affiliation
The National Association of Student Activity Advisers offers several workshops and conferences throughout the year for activity advisers.
