1994 the Virginia Association of Secondary School Principals instituted the
Department
of Student Leadership (DSL) to foster the leadership learning of Virginia's
youth. During the past sixteen years, DSL has made significant strides in improving the
leadership learning opportunities for student leaders throughout the Commonwealth.
School membership in DSL automatically gives schools an affiliation with three important statewide organizations in student leadership: Virginia Student Councils Association, Virginia Association of Honor Societies, and Virginia Association of Student Activity Advisers. |
