School membership in DSL automatically gives schools an affiliation with three important statewide organizations in student leadership: Virginia Student Councils Association, Virginia Association of Honor Societies, and Virginia Association of Student Activity Advisers.

The annual fee for membership in DSL or VSCA includes the following:

• Annual membership in the Virginia Student Councils Association, Virginia Association of Honor Societies, Virginia Association of Student Activity Advisers
• Discounts on registration for student and adviser workshops sponsored by VASSP/DSL
• Exclusive registration - members only - to the VSCA Annual State Convention, the VAHS Annual Conference, and the Virginia Summer Leadership Workshops
• Monthly mailings which include project and fundraising ideas, calendar pages, and clip art, as well as information and registration forms for all program offerings (Current Issue of DSL Dispatch) or visit archive for previous issues.
• Speaker resources and legal assistance

The membership year for DSL is September 1 to August 31.
